Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the bloodstream. It is considered a “conditionally essential amino acid” because it can be manufactured in the body. HealthWise Amino Powders are pure pharmaceutical grade powders and are packed by weight not volume, without the use of fillers or flowing agents. Some of the powders are slightly hygroscopic (retain moisture) and this can result in clumping. This can be broken apart with a spoon before taking or dissolved in water.

SERVING SUGGESTION:

Glutamine should be taken with cold or room temperature foods or liquids. It should not be added to hot beverages because heat destroys glutamine. Average serving would be to teaspoon added to food or liquid.

TIPS:

Best taken in divided doses on an empty stomach as it is sensitive to stomach acids.

The best times to take it are in the morning, after a workout and before going to bed. Taking glutamine when you wake up is ideal because your muscles have gone all night without nutrition.
